No homework: Once we begin reading The Revealers there will be written responses to literature each night.
In class today:
In Language Arts we did a worksheet on the elements of literature in preparation of reading our first class novel, The Revealers by Doug Wilhelm. We also analyzed which elements of literature were in the storybook "More Than Anything Else" which I read to the class.
In Math class we finished a complex pattern problem and worked independently on a similar problem.
We began focus groups today.
In Social Studies we continued a discussion of maps and continued using an atlas to practice map skills. We also began a review of land and water terms.
The Odyssey Team visited the Youth Center which is open after school each day.
Mod 2 students began learning how to use Movie Maker to produce a video for the open house.
